If you have no sound on Rhythm Cat, Treble Cat, Bass Cat or Ear Cat, you may have accidentally muted your device. Even if your volume is turned up and you’re still able to get sound through headphones or core apps such as Youtube.
On Newer Devices: (iPads that have no side switch next to the volume buttons)
Swipe down from the top right corner of the home screen you’ll be able open the control center. Now check the sound icon isn’t set to mute. This YouTube video shows how you access the control center in iOS 12.
Note for earlier iOS versions, pre iOS 12, you access the control center by swiping up from the bottom of the home screen.
On Older iPad Devices: (if you have a side switch next to the volume buttons)
Go to Settings – General – under ‘Use Side Switch’ make sure ‘Mute’ is selected and not ‘Lock Rotation’
Still not getting sound? Here’s another helpful post with a few more steps on how to restore sound on the iPad.
The steps above are for iPad – if you’re not getting sound on iPhone devices, check that the side switch next to the volume buttons isn’t set to the off position. Otherwise, that you are not connected to headphones via bluetooth.
